Central Indiana Watersheds
Watershed ... a media center in Bristol England ... a drug and alcohol treatment center in Florida and Texas ... or a diuretic pill? Do you run into these search results when in a hurry putting together a presentation or grant package? Well we can help. This web site* and associated blog, hopefully will be a first stop when looking for, or having information to share with others concerned with improving water quality in Indiana.
You're at the web site now, so what is the blog and what does it have to do with the website? Instead of "bookmarking" indywatersheds.org and remembering to perhaps look at it a month from now to see if there is anything new, you can subscribe to the blog and you will be notified when something new, and hopefully worthwhile, is posted to the web site. This is sometimes called an RSS feed, Real Simple Syndication. Click here for quick overview.
As they say on TV -- BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
The blog works both ways, to notify you of new posts to the website, but you can also share ideas, or ask questions of other watershed folk. Sort of like what happens during break sessions at many of the seminars we attend, except without the travel time ... and it is available anytime.
It is easy to subscribe. Click here to go to the blog, scroll down the page to the Subscribe to: Posts (Atom) line and click on it. "Atom" is an updated RSS feed type. Next click to verify that you want to subscribe, type in the funny letters to prove that you are human, and that's it! If you have questions please contact me at watersheds@tds.net.
Privacy: Your email address or other information is not collected or distributed anywhere other than being used to notify you of new posts. We are not accepting anonmouys comments so if you do not have a Google account you will have to create one. Click to sign up, again everything is very secure to protect the blog and you from spam and the other stuff on the web from people with too much time on their hands.
