Learn More About Forest Buffers at Saturday's, October 13th , 2007 Workshop
Attend the "Trees Are a Stream's Best Friend" Workshop at the Holcombe Estates Property in Indianapolis.  The NO FEE workshop brochure has the agenda, location, and other details.  The registration deadline is 10/11/07.  This workshop is targeted to home owners association members and individuals interested in establishing riparian buffers along streams in their neighborhood.

As you plant trees this Spring, Don't forget to report them to the Hoosier Heartland RC&D to help us reach our goal of planting a million new trees in central Indiana over the next ten years.  The "Count My Trees Form" is available on our web site in a Adobe pdf file or a Microsoft Word file format.  For more information about planting trees and shrubs in your back yard, check out the Hoosier Heartland RC&D's new booklet- "Your Yard, Your trees- A Homeowners Guide" order form (in pdf format) or (Microsoft Word format)

Our Hoosier Heartland RC&D Forestry Committee is working toward enhancing the stewardship of Indiana's forestry resources in Central Indiana.

Our Purpose...
To promote the protection and wise use of our forest and tree resources through activities, such as sponsoring seminars, developing programs and organizing workshops.
