Resource Enterprises Workshop
Join
us on September 9, 2010 at Dull’s Christmas Tree Farm in
Thorntown, Indiana to learn business and wildlife habitat
management basics with expert speakers and a field session. The
agenda includes how to manage your land’s resources; how to
market your enterprise; what cost-share programs are available;
how to reduce your liability; and about different types of
enterprises. The afternoon session is held in the field,
where you will view examples of enterprises and learn about
wildlife habitat management practices. Resource materials,
lunch, and refreshments will be provided. Registration after

Us for a Two Day Small Farm and Sustainable
Agriculture Professional Development Tour of Southern Ohio
September 8-9, 2010
This
tour will focus on current research studies and on-farm
practical applications of a variety of small farm/Sustainable
Agriculture production and marketing practices that are underway
in Southern Ohio.
NOTE: Travel (to/from Greenfield), food, and lodging expenses
will paid by NC SARE provided participating educators fill out
and return the Travel Scholarship form (attached) to Roy Ballard
ASAP. Expenses will be reimbursed (ASAP) following the tour once
reimbursement forms are received from participants.
